LOCATED in the Hussey Farm Road area, a pleasant walk to Main Street. The island bus stops on corner. A short ride/drive to Bartlett Farm, several beaches, Miacomet Golf Course, and the mid-island area (grocery & pharmacy).

Things to do: 

Eat at the fine restaurants. Sightsee.  Shop.  Watch movies and people. Golf! Picnic on nature walks; walk the moors.

History buffs, architecture lovers, and photographers will have a field day.

Below is just one of the seven beaches suitable for swimming. Several have concessions and changing areas. 

Charter fishing and surf casting are popular activities.

Bicycle—there are miles of island paths. Horseback ride. 

Visit the Nantucket Atheneum or Maria Mitchell Planetarium.

The island churches open their windows to let you breathe in the fresh, clean air while enjoying weekly concerts of all types.

And with no bright city lights to obstruct the view, romantic stargazing is a prime activity on the island.  Ah, Nantucket!!

1. Front of house (ample screened-in windows & doors)

 

2. Side view of house showing private circular drive access off Hussey Farm Road.  Ample-sized backyard for outside dining and watching the rabbits and great variety of birds.  The blackberries are ready to eat in July. Guests are invited to cut hydrangeas and other flowers around the house to make table arrangements. 

 

 

3. A gracious, bright and open living space with antique accents. Comfortable furnishings, seascape paintings, and new red oak hardwood floors. The "soft sand" wall color changes with the day's light into a spectrum of pinks (as shown). Cable TV and DVD player. Books & videos available.

Dining area at the other end of the living area, shown in the early morning light, has large table and internet connection. Double windows open out to backyard view.  

 

Private backyard (blackberries in season); table and chairs provided for outside dining.

4. Fully-equipped kitchen off dining room. Utility area with washer/dryer. The back door leads to backyard for outside dining.

 

5. Downstairs Master Bedroom: queen bed, end tables with lamps, bureau, spacious closet & adjoining bath & shower. New red oak hardwood floors. Linens,  towels, and hairdryer provided.

 

6. Upstairs bedroom #1 (television, cable; full closet & bureau not shown). Twins can be made into California king. Linens, towels, and hairdryer.

*Overlooks beautiful panoramic view of area--especially dramatic with incoming fog.

7. Upstairs bedroom #2 (can be California King). Full closet and large bureau not shown. Two bedrooms share one bathroom with shower. Linens, towels, and hairdryer.
